Lumintheme Shopify Theme Commercial License  (Freelancers & Agencies)

 

License Terms

Scope of License

The License Holder is granted the right to use the licensed theme for commercial purposes, including creating and operating one or more Shopify stores for clients or projects. This license is valid for the number of domains specified in the purchase agreement. This license is non-transferable and may not be used for reselling or sublicensing the theme or it’s parts to third parties.

 

Authorized Use

  • Freelancers: The theme may be used in client projects where the freelancer is working directly for the client to build or maintain a Shopify store.
  • Agencies: The theme may be used by the agency for multiple client projects, where the agency is hired to design, develop, and maintain Shopify stores for their clients. Modifications, adaptations, and integrations of the theme are allowed as necessary for client projects. 
  • Client License Requirement: If the theme is used on a client’s Shopify store, the client must purchase their own commercial license for the theme. The License Holder is responsible for ensuring that the client obtains the necessary license to use the theme on their store.

 

Prohibited Activities

The License Holder is prohibited from:

  • Prohibition on Distribution and Transfer

The Licensee is not allowed to share, distribute, sublicense, or transfer the complete Theme package—including the theme.zip file and any license key—to any third party, whether for free, for payment, or as part of a bundle.

  • Reselling or distributing the theme to clients or third parties without additional licenses.
  • Sharing or providing access to the theme.zip file or license key.
  • Using the theme in any unlawful or unethical manner or in violation of Shopify’s Terms of Service.
  • Decompiling, reverse-engineering, or extracting any portion of the theme’s code for redistribution or resale.

 

Ownership & Copyright

 The theme is provided under a commercial license. All intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, remain the sole property of Lumintheme. The License Holder is granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the theme for the specified commercial purposes only, and does not hold any ownership over the theme.

 

Updates & Support

The License Holder will have access to theme updates and support for a specified period, generally 12 Months, from the date of purchase.

Freelancers and agencies will receive support only for the projects where they are using the theme. Support for issues or queries beyond this may be subject to additional charges.

 

License Termination

Lumintheme may terminate the license if the License Holder violates any of the terms or conditions of this agreement. Upon termination, the License Holder must immediately cease using the theme and remove it from all live projects and websites.

 

Refund Policy

The theme license is non-refundable once the license key has been issued. If the theme is found to be defective or does not function as described, the License Holder may request a replacement or bug fixes under the theme’s support policy.

 

By accepting this Commercial License, the License Holder acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined above.
