Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Thank you for shopping at LuminTheme. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines regarding refunds for purchases made through our Services.

1. Geographic Scope of the Right of Withdrawal 

The specific statutory "Right of Withdrawal" outlined in Section 2 of this policy is legally mandated by European Union law and applies exclusively to consumers residing within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).

For all customers residing outside of the EU/EEA (including but not limited to the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom), sales are strictly subject to our standard non-refundable digital goods policy detailed in Section 4.

2. Digital Products and the EU Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Customers Only)

Due to the non-tangible, digital nature of our products (including Shopify themes and templates), purchases are delivered instantly via digital download or direct installation.

Under the European Union Consumer Rights Directive, EU consumers generally have a 14-day window to withdraw from an online contract. However, this right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content once performance has begun with the consumer's prior consent.

3. Immediate Loss of Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Customers)

By purchasing a digital theme from our store, EU/EEA residents explicitly agree that:

The execution of the contract begins immediately upon successful payment (when the download link is generated or the theme installation is initiated).

You give your express prior consent to this immediate delivery. 

You acknowledge and accept that you lose your 14-day statutory right to withdraw from the contract once the delivery of the digital content has begun.

4. Standard Refund Policy (Global & Non-EU Customers)

Because our digital themes cannot be "returned," uninstalled, or wiped from your system in a verifiable manner, all sales are final and non-refundable. This applies to all global customers, as well as EU customers who have consented to immediate delivery as outlined above.

We will only consider exceptions to this policy under the following strict circumstances: Non-Delivery: If a technical glitch on our end prevents you from receiving the download link or installing the product, and you notify us within 14 days of purchase. Major Defects/Bugs: If the theme contains a critical flaw that prevents it from functioning as advertised, which cannot be fixed by our support team within a reasonable timeframe.
Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same theme twice in a single transaction (in which case, the duplicate purchase will be refunded).
